GoodAI is partnering with the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence on the Animal-AI Olympics project which will aim to benchmark the current level of various AI’s against different animal species using a range of established animal cognition tasks.

The Solving the AI Race round of the General AI Challenge is underway and so far we have received over 100 registrants!
Prize winners will be invited to a workshop at the Human-Level AI Conference in Prague (see below) to define the next practical steps.

Today GoodAI have launched the "Solving the AI Race" round of the General AI Challenge. Participants can compete for $15,000 in prizes by sending us suggestions on how to mitigate the risks associated with a race to transformative AI.

After a lot of testing and deliberation from our jury, the results for the first round of the General AI Challenge are in!
We had 13 submissions, which all competed for the qualitative or “best idea” prize, while the eight entries with agents competed in the quantitative category as well.
